   • Be capable of using modern engineering tools to apply mathematics, science,

and engineering fundamentals to the modeling, analysis, and solution of real-life

mechanical engineering problems.

· Be capable of designing and conducting experiments and maintain a critical and objective mind when interpreting data.

· Be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

· Have the skills needed to perform effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

· Be able to generate specifications, and subsequently design a component, system, or process to meet desired needs in both the mechanical and thermal domain.

· Have an understanding of the engineering canons of ethics and the contemporary issues in which they apply.
